I am in dire need of a mani/pedi, so much so I'm practically embarrassed of my scaly paws (not ever sure I can call them feet!). I tore my feet up running around in sandals for the last part of summer. But this weekend I will change that, promise. I don't want to disappoint you with my grooming, or lack there of! ;) hehe
While looking online at 'what is hot for Fall' in the world of nail polish, I fell in love with some new shades. Normally I'm a red, pink, and nude girl come summer. Then in fall/winter - still red, but a darker red and less poppy and then there is my standing favorite, Lincoln Park after Dark - the popular super dark burgundy/purple.
I'm not for change as you can see. However these two Essie shades are really calling my name. No more film, actually looks more navy-ish that purple when on. And Bobbing for Baubles, is just a shade of navy away from an almost black. Perfect for the moody chilly days of fall if you ask me!
Let's hope the nail salon has these, I am ready to test them out. If not, bummer man.....but you already know what I'll choose! LOL
What nail colors are you going to start wearing now that it is Fall?

I definitely change my color spectrums according to seasons, too. I'm all about experimentation these days, though, and I've been into some unusual colors these days. I have an army green on my toes right now (also Essie, called Sew Psyched) and I love it! Have you seen OPI's Germany collection? I bought a bright orange the other day, and I love it on my fingers.
ReplyDeleteNO, I haven't been looking at new nail polishes in forever - I need to see what's new! Thanks for the recommendation, I'll need to check it out! xo-T
DeleteI just started wearing my Lincoln Park After Dark again! In the summer I wore a lot of bright pink and coral and even tried out an aqua. In the fall and winter I like dark colours and nudes, and some sparkles around Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteOOO SPARKLES!!!! My kinda gal, sounds like our colors are in agreement!
DeleteI do the same thing. And love Navy nails for Fall. Right now I've been wearing Deborah Lippmann's ruby slippers pretty religiously... it's a dark black with red glitter... kinda badass :)
ReplyDeleteHOLY HAWTNESS! I need to find who sell DL around here and get a shade or two, that color sounds divine! XO-T
DeleteI also am in desperate need of a pedicure! Definitely can't wait to get my first Fall shade on my nails. Hope to see you tonight lady! :)
ReplyDeleteYes you will!!! ANd I agree, fun fall shade on the Pedi for sure!

ReplyDeleteI know right, I saw them and instant love.....google the name and look at images on peoples hands, you'll love them even more! xo-T
DeleteBobbing for Baubles is too cute!!! Part of how I pick my nail shades is based on the cute names :)
ReplyDeleteNeglect is not the word for what I've done to both my hands and feet. I miss our mani/pedi dates! Lunchtime mani/pedi's soon? PLEASE?!
ReplyDeletePS - LOVE both of those colors, especially considering we share similar tastes in color :)
