I stayed away from the Boob Tube and read for hours. No literally, hours - I think I clocked near 7 total hours - 3.5 in bed on Saturday morning!!! I am currently engrossed in 'The Girl Who Played with Fire' - totally recommend it!
Stocked the house with more 'fresh' choices to snack on.
Made a batch of homemade granola (Shown over plain yogurt)- which by the way, so easy and soo good!!! You can see the whole recipe here.
And hit the gym hard! Boy was it rough - taking a break from going to the gym is always nice during that period but once I go back I always curse myself.
How were your weekends?
I'm dreading going back to the gym. And back to university. And back to everything else that is not my homecountry.... :( That said, I really should pack now...
ReplyDeleteVery inspirational post. My goal is to drink more water this year, I am so bad about doing so.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I have that same bowl but in white and I love it.
This is exactly my goal for this week! Looks healthy, refreshing and delicious!
ReplyDeleteI am jumping on that train today. I need to! Your granola looks delish!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a really productive weekend. I need to get myself back into the gym, I have already conquered the "reading more" resolution! Granola..yumm
ReplyDeleteI went back to the gym too -- so necessary. That granola looks so good. Danielle's instagrams were drool-worthy.
ReplyDeleteI have been "detoxing" and running for about 2 weeks now, so I took the weekend off and went a little crazy ;/ But I am back in gear today!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very healthy weekend! I have the same running shoes - love 'em!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I was tremendously lazy other than my haircut and boozing with friends. I so need to get back on the health wagon. Just...so...lazy...haha.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I also have made a promise to myself to watch less tv & read more books! Especially in a bubble bath with a glass of wine ;) And I have the same fruit bowl!

I had a great weekend! I got a bunch of photos I need for yearbook at school and I ran a half marathon at Disney on Sunday morning! Overall very productive in that regard but then I was down for the count the rest of Sunday. Didn't get to do the normal grocery shopping, etc.
ReplyDeleteOkay, where to start. This is such a killer post! The Girl Who Played With Fire is a KILLER book, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am now in the middle of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. I want that same Ikea bowl for fruit too! Every time I go I look and think that! I need to make your homemade granola, it looks sooo yummy! And your Nike's are so rad!
