Did you smell that?!

P-U! (You know like the thing you say when you wave your hand in front of your nose, because you smelled a stinky smell) This is going to be me soon - I kid you not! In the past two weeks I have run out of A-my classic scent. B- my second in line scent. And by scent I mean perfume and by smelly that will be me!!!!

I am very picky when it comes to perfume. I don't like toooo florally, I don't like... well a lot. I love the clean smells of a lot of mens colognes and have a hard time narrowing down a perfect girl scent. I have tried and like the following over the years (A, B, C, D) but I feel like something new!

I have worn Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue since well...since it came out. I have been told I "smell dreamy" by boys in it, I have worn it pretty much constantly...I even stopped wearing it for a month before our wedding and then again on our wedding day (I read somewhere your Hubs will always remember the way you smell on your wedding day....drinking the water much?!) I love the lightness, and over all feel of it. It is my go-to and will always be in my aresenol....needs replenishing too BTW!

But here is where I turn it over to you.....What are some of your favorite scents/perfumes.? What do I need to check out? I need help! (also, a hard time I have - I have no personal scent (I know totally random, and you probably don't need to know). So the way my favorites smell on others NEVER smell that way on me!!!Ok done.) HALPPPPP!!!!! Please help I don't wanna stink!!!! {I am down to samples and really old Peter Thomas Roth and GASP Ed Hardy.....Hey don't judge til you smell it!!! It was even in the last Glamour or InStyle perfume review! }

PS- HOLY did you notice it is December today! Jeeze!!!!!

  1. I have never been able to find a perfume I like,.. until recently. I bought "GUCCI II," (Think that's what it's called?) I like it but I don't love it, maybe more for special occasions? I also like Juicy Coutures "Viva La Juicy." I haven't smelled the new Gucci Envy, but I've heard great things about it. I also tend to like mens cologne so I think I will look into D&G unisex collection..I think they are just numbered? No names?!

  6. Oh I love light blue too! I also like Burberry Brit, I'm super picky too and hate anything too flowery or strong. I say stick to what you love if it works for you!

  7. That's funny, I have a perfume post saved and ready to go.

    I wear Angel by Thierry Mugler. I'm pretty sure it isn't stylish or hip, but I love it and I've worn it for YEARS. I can't imagine wearing anything else.

    Well, other than Marc Jacobs' Cucumber. That I wear during the summer.

  8. I love the light blue too! But on my list of faves are Alien, Butterfly by Hanae Mori and Miss Dior Cherie. Those are three completely different from each other scents.Butterfly sort of warms and spices up my winters, Alien brings a bit of a masculine scent and Miss Dior Cherie is a bit floral but stays light and not overpowering... BTW I'm a perfume addict and have like half of dept store worth of perfumes! SO it might take like 50 years till I ran out of them :) Good luck! And squeezy hugs from Las Vegas!

    Hermes Merveilles isn't on the tray because it was in my bathroom and I don't have MJ Daisy (YET).

  12. I second Teenage bride, you must at least test Victoria's Secret Noir, It is my favorite scent for winter. It isn't too clean or fruity, but light and sexy!

  13. This weekend I smelled Gucci Guilt and loved it! One of my old standbys is Michael Kors (love it!) and I'm really into Givenchy Demon right now. I have a bottle of Light Blue not receiving any love... let me know if you want it! :-)

  14. I'm pretty much the opposite, I prefer I slightly stronger scent. I live in Burberry London in the winter, and I also love D&G The One.

  16. I have not tried it but I currently have an obsession with LOVE, Chloe. I think it is the bottle and the ad campaign. Also, somewhere I read it described as understated chic and want to try it so bad.

    I have always loved Light Blue. :)
